Common questions
How do I get access to my course?
Find your course under Courses, register with your name, index number and phone, then pay with mobile money or card. Your login details are texted to you as soon as the payment clears.
What if I do not have an email address?
You do not need one. Your index number is your username and everything important reaches you by SMS. You can add an email later in your profile if you want one.
I paid but did not receive my login details.
Check that the number you registered is correct and switched on. If the payment went through, your access is already active — use "Forgot password" on the login page to get a new code by SMS. If nothing arrives, contact your lecturer with your payment reference.
Can someone else pay for me?
Yes. Tick "Someone else is paying for me" during registration and give their number. The receipt goes to them; your login details still come to your own phone.
How long does my access last?
Your lecturer sets the end date for each course, usually the end of the semester. After it ends you keep read-only access to your released results permanently.
Can I use this on my phone?
Yes. The whole portal is built for phones first, including taking timed quizzes. Your answers save as you go, so a dropped connection will not lose your work.
What happens if I lose signal during a quiz?
Your answers are saved as you type. The timer runs on our server, so reconnecting picks up where you left off with the same deadline. If time runs out while you are offline, whatever was saved is submitted for you.
